Aerial Hammock

This apparatus uses the same fabric from Aerial Silks, only it’s rigged into a teardrop shape. The aerial hammock can be a great introductory apparatus for the aerial arts, as less climbing is initially required - but can also be taken to a very advanced level if desired.

Our trapeze classes use a taped metal bar suspended by ropes on either side and connected to a single hanging point. This allows for spinning during moves as one progresses.

For all ages and all levels
Aerial Lyra uses a circular metal hoop to do aerial acrobatics.
The Lyra can be used static or spinning. While all of De Leon Dynamics’ classes are designed to be accessible to absolute beginners, Lyra classes are sometimes more enjoyable for those working on upper body strength and are loved by those who enjoy being theatrical in their movements – like dance in the air!

Our camps feature instruction in your child’s choice of Aerial (aerial silks, aerial hammock, lyra, trapeze), Cirque and Circus skills (rolla bolla, juggling, tumbling, gymnastics), and Ninja Warrior training.
Camps consist of instructional periods, team-building activities, and games! The most fun your kid can have in San Diego!

Brenda Hamilton, a seasoned veteran in the entertainment and dance community with over 25 years of experience, has been crafting stunning and versatile aerial choreography for more than 15 years. Her impressive portfolio includes choreographing, performing, and coaching on national and international stages, as well as for film and television. Noteworthy recent achievements include choreographing the aerial elements of Carrie Underwood’s residency show in Las Vegas, creating the official music video for “Ghost Story,” and designing a special live performance for the CMT awards show featuring Carrie’s debut in aerial performance. Brenda’s diverse choreographic work spans prestigious events such as The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, The Country Music Awards, and The Kids Choice Awards, as well as collaborations with Cirque Du Soleil for the Pan Am Games in Toronto and a special performance in Mumbai, India. With her wealth of experience, Brenda is adept at tailoring her choreography to meet the specific needs of any production, from corporate events and rock concerts to commercials and film, consistently captivating audiences with breathtaking artistry.
