$80 Purchase required to enroll

Fluidity, Movement Development, and Character Work for All Kinds of apparatus

This workshop is designed to help you develop smooth, flowing movements and explore your personal charisma and expression in performance. Through improvisation and movements, you will discover ways to connect your actions, create dynamic fluidity, and enhance your character on stage.

What We Will Do:

  • Begin with a warm-up to increase flexibility and mobility.

  • Practice connecting movements and experimenting with speed and dynamics to maintain fluidity even during very technical tricks.

  • Engage in improvisation exercises to explore different emotional expressions and character work.

  • Use music to guide intensity and rhythm, finding ways to infuse your movements with personal charisma.

  • Conclude with a cool-down and group reflection on what you’ve discovered about yourself and your movement.

What to Provide:

  • Be ready to experiment with different emotions and expressions in your movement.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement.

  • Prepare ahead a short movement combination on your own apparatus to work on and let the direction know which apparatus you will work on so we have the space prepared.
